  • Quiet hotel right on Santander

The hotel is somewhat set back from the hustle and bustle of Santander. It's gardens are manicured and the rooms in the back are specially quiet. Restaurant service is good. Internet available only near the reception

  • Great for the price, and centrally located

It's the (much) cheaper hotel run by the Porta group. The rooms are small & simple. It's quiet, and the staff are accommodating. The breakfast is coffee, fresh fruit, eggs, beans, cheese and fried plantains.

  • Hot springs

Lovely, well located, hot spring hot tubs on the grounds, breakfast costs extra, the room was large but had a dark ceiling that my wife and daughter did not like. The location was great, five minutes to the sunset

The hotel is somewhat set back from the hustle and bustle of Santander. It's gardens are manicured and the rooms in the back are specially quiet. Restaurant service is good. Internet available only near the reception and palapa area. Everything is clean and quiet. Being in the middle of town, you're walking distance from the lake and a lot of restaurants and cafes.

The breakfast is coffee, fresh fruit, eggs, beans, cheese and fried plantains. Sometimes you can hear your neighbor in the bathroom if you're in the bathroom at the same time. The wifi is only available in the reception/dining/patio areas. Can't comment on the hot springs as I didn't try them, but several people were enjoying them while I was there. There was also a couple with a dog, so maybe they're pet friendly (with an extra charge, I imagine).

Lovely, well located, hot spring hot tubs on the grounds, breakfast costs extra, the room was large but had a dark ceiling that my wife and daughter did not like. The location was great, five minutes to the sunset cafe to watch, of course, the sunset! Sheets were a bit coarse.
